Good Night Books

ImageImage

I remember, when I was little and sharing a room with my sister, Bekah, she used to read me this book every night before we went to bed. She’d only read a chapter or two and we never actually finished the book (well…she did on her own time). And I wanted to do the same thing for my little sister. I was only about 7 when this happened, so I’m a bit behind (Steph is 11).

But last night, I started reading Treasure Island, one of my all-time favorite books, to her. I asked her this morning if she’d even heard or understood any of it, and she actually did listen. She was caught up on the physical descriptions of the “captain” and totally digging it.

I found it yesterday on our shopping trip in this small little used book store. I fell in love with the old cover and had to buy it. I also bought another books from the classic section, but can’t remember the name right now.
